Lola Pearl Fabian

Lola Pearl Fabian, formerly of 1705 Little Lane, died at 6:40 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1998 at Ponca City Nursing Home. She was 76.
Born in Cashion, Okla. on August 24, 1912, she was the daughter of Jacob and Maude Bernhardt. She graduated from Blackwell High School and the University Prep School at NOC.
On May 29, 1998 she married Earl James Fabian in Gainsville, Texas. The Fabians came to Ponca City in 1946 and made their home on Little Lane. They owned and operated the Marland Grocery Store from 1950 to 1961.
Mrs. Fabian was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church and was past president of the 55 and Older Club. She enjoyed painting and volunteer work at the hospital.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Culp of Houston, and 2 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trout Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Post of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Trout.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Golden Villa Center - Adult Day Care at 615 West Grand in Ponca City. The family will be at the home of Fred Reginer, 2221 John.
